Carey, who stands nearly 5'10" tall and was once an iconic American fashion model. Top designers including Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren loved her. Her father is a renowned geologist who was voted Scientist Of The Year 1979, at the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. As a result of his work, Carey was raised all over the world. After she graduated from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, she started modeling on the side. This caught the eye of an agent from Ford Model Agency New York. The model briefly studied and lived in Paris prior to returning to New York. Her modeling and college career took off and she was featured on Glamour's, Vogue's and many other magazine covers. In between her modeling assignments she was a full time student who was pursuing a degree in literary studies at New York University. In time, she began to become interested in acting and studied at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York. She began her acting career through a tiny character in 'Club Pardise' in 1986 with Robin Williams. In her spare time, she enjoys ski, white-water rafting rock climbing, and wind-surfing.
